I've been away for a while and I find I can't keep up. I have been without internet the whole summer, and now that I am back at school, back in touch, I find the internet and all of its distractions overwhelming -- I want to shut it out! There are so many websites I have forgotten about, articles I haven't read, trailers I haven't watched, songs I haven't listened to, artworks I haven't seen, places I haven't researched. I got so much done in my free-time; will I have any free-time now?

I suppose I've mostly been working on my own "art" right now: my novel, my photographs. And I just don't feel like posting any of it here. I keep browsing through images, looking for things that please, frighten, and inspire me. There's a lot of that here: DeviantArt is always overflowing with amazing things. Every so often I feel underwhelmed by what I see, but that's the internet for you!

So if you see me more than recently, you know why, and if you see me less and less, it means I continue to wean myself away. Good luck.
